Finding my own Narnia

It took me 2 years to find this place back when no one knew about it. There was only one single photo on the entire internet to go by. I sat endless nights zooming google maps, asked everyone in Iceland, and eventually just stumbled into it almost by accident. It felt like finding my very own Narnia. And even though it's still my favourite place in Iceland, now you even have to pay for the parking lot they've built here. That's what the internet does to places. And I'm partially to blame for sharing it.
