It’s hot. Volcano went pop so with not a lot of thought I shot it on the spot before the drone drop into the boiling pot because then there would be no photo and that would make an empty frame somewhere sad.
This is insanely fresh lava pouring out of an eruption. And that eruption is 4 hours old. That’s younger than most of you. We really did run there. And even arrived before the helicopters got their BBC coverage done.
And that charred ground beneath the red? Solidified lava from the year before. Yeah. So like a lava cake of lava. But partially really dried up and tastes like rock.
